We sincerely understand clients who are stressed about their appointments being cancelled. Unfortunately most of us are in the same position as you are. We are always the last to get our own hair done because we are so busy taking care of our clients hair and it leaves no time for us.
This is an unprecedented situation that hopefully we never see again in our lifetime. We are all in this together and we must all do our part to help stop the spread of this virus.
Please do not ask us to put our health, the health of our families and the health of our entire communities at risk by doing your hair at your home or ours! This is against the law, and it can possibly cause your stylist to lose their license or your favorite salon to pay heavy fines or have their business shut down for good. It’s not worth it!!!!!
None of us want to be in this position. We are temporarily out of a job, we are scared about how we are going to pay our bills, feed our families and simply survive knowing that we have no definite idea of how long this will last.
Please put things in perspective and do not put your stylist in an awkward position by messaging them on social media, texting them, or begging them to break the law by doing your hair at home. If we could do your hair, we wouldn’t be closed down!
We are all going to be hurting financially, but know this is temporary. Be proactive. Call your mortgage company, landlord, banks, car payments, credit card companies, utilities, etc. and ask for temporary deferment of payments. They are happy to help everyone now due to this situation.
Take this time to do things you’ve been wanting to do. Deep clean your house, spend quality time with your family, read a good book, watch Netflix, cook some homemade meals for your family, start exercising, enjoy your favorite hobbies…..there is so much more you can be doing than worrying about your roots growing in. We promise, we will fix your hair up better than ever once this is all over!!!
Staying healthy and stopping the spread of this crappy virus is top priority right now. Let’s all take a pause, do our part and take this opportunity to reconnect with our families, our pets, and the things that we enjoy doing while we can. Soon enough we will all be back to our hectic schedules and we will be will wishing we had all this free time back!
