Appointments

We do require a credit card authorization to reserve any color, texture or extension service. We do not store any credit card information in our system. The information you give us is encrypted and processed through our secure credit card merchant and is for an authorization only. It does NOT charge your credit card.

PLEASE NOTE: We do require 24-hour notice for any cancellations. Failure to provide proper notice for any color, texture or extension service will result in a $50 late cancellation or no-show fee.

Excessive no-shows and/or last minute cancellations will require a non-refundable $50 deposit to book and hold any future appointments, which will then be applied to your service at the time of check out. Alternately, you may call to check for same day availability instead.

Arriving after your scheduled appointment time may require us to shorten or reschedule your service.

Please remember to schedule your next appointment before you leave to ensure you get the day and time you would like. Our stylists are booking out weeks in advance and it may be difficult to get an appointment with your preferred stylist when you wait to call at the last minute. Evening and Saturday appointments fill up very quickly.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be abusive or inappropriate by any member of our staff.

Children

We do not have the facilities to accommodate children. For their safety, and the comfort of our other guests, children are not permitted in the salon.

Should you arrive with young children to your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule for another day and time that will be convenient with your schedule.

Head Lice/Nits

By law, we can not service anyone that is exhibiting symptoms of: an infectious disease, definite open sores, or any parasitic infestation such as head lice or nits. Nits are the eggs that are attached to the hair strands before they hatch into lice.

If it is determined or suspected by your stylist that you may have lice or nits, your service will be discontinued immediately and you will be asked to leave the salon and seek medical attention for it.

We do require written permission from a physician that you are free of lice and nits before we will allow any future services.

Personal Items

We kindly request that you leave your jewelry and/or other valuables at home.

Although we do our very best to protect your clothing during services, mishaps may happen from time to time with water or color.

We ask if you are wearing something valuable, that you remove the item of clothing and change into one of our color smocks prior to your service.

We are not responsible for any lost, damaged, stolen items or clothing.

Gift Cards

Our gift cards are sold exclusively through our salon. Gift cards purchased through a third party provider are NOT valid at our salon.

Gift cards are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash or cash back for gratuity. Gift cards can be used towards any service or retail product in our salon. (unless specified otherwise)

Gift cards must be presented at time of check out if using as a form of payment and our regular plastic gift cards can be re-loaded at any time.

Our sale/promotional gift cards cannot be used for same day products or services.

For balance inquiries, call the salon at (216) 236-6940 with the bar code number on the back of the card. Tease Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
We also offer eGift Cards that can be purchased online and can be sent via email to anyone you like. Amounts range from $25-$500.

Payments

New Clients: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Cash and our Salon Gift Cards for payment of services.

We no longer accept checks.

Established Clients: There will be a $20 service fee for any returned check. Any future service must then be paid with either cash or credit card.

We do not accept gratuities on credit cards. Any gratuity you would like to leave your stylist must be left in cash.

Refunds & Exchanges

If you are not 100% satisfied with your retail product purchase, gently used products may be exchanged for an item of equal value or returned with the original receipt for a refund within 7 days of purchase. Refunds on retail items are issued in the same manner as the original purchase.

Hair extensions, whether applied or still in their original packaging are non-returnable/non-refundable.

All sales are FINAL on makeup, brushes, discounted, promotional or sale items.

We do not issue refunds on services at any time.

Email, Phone & Personal Info

Any personal information you provide to us is strictly confidential and is for salon use only. We do not share your information with any third parties.

When you provide your email address/phone number to us, we will send you appointment reminders, and on occasion, special offers or salon event information. It is for salon use only and completely confidential. Should you wish to opt-out of receiving emails from us, please let our front desk know and we will promptly remove you from our email list.

Please be sure to provide us with any updates to your contact information to continue receiving appointment reminders.

Service Satisfaction

We strive to make each guest happy at every visit to our salon. If there is something you are unhappy with, please let us know BEFORE you leave the salon so we can make any adjustments needed that day or if necessary, re-schedule you to come back in to the salon another day so we can make the adjustment.

Minor tweaks/adjustments can be made at no charge within 3 days of your original appointment.

If you decide after leaving the salon that you want to change your hair color, we are happy to accommodate you at an additional charge.
