While many of the guidelines given to us by The Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and The Ohio Dept of Health for reopening have already been in place and are practiced on a daily basis in our salon, there are a few things that you will see change until the Covid-19 crisis has passed.
We understand you have concerns, so we have gone above and beyond to prepare our salon space for you! The health and safety of our guests and staff is very important to us.
To prepare for our reopening, we have deep cleaned our entire salon, placed station chairs the required 6 feet apart, cleaned and disinfected all surfaces and implements, laundered all capes and towels, removed any non-essential items throughout our salon, acquired the appropriate personal protective equipment to be used when necessary, and re-trained our staff on essential infection control and hygiene practices. Below are NEW GUIDELINES and what you can expect when arriving back to our salon.
NO WALK INS – We are not taking any walk-ins and are booking by APPOINTMENT ONLY during this time.
We will NOT be double booking or squeezing in any appointments at this time.
Please use our ONLINE BOOKING PORTAL to schedule your appointments.
You will be prompted to enter a valid credit card to reserve your appointment.
We suggest booking at least 3 future appointments in advance, as we are already booking out through December.
If you have any questions regarding booking, we ask that you EMAIL US at: email@example.com rather than calling for the time being.
*Our entire staff will be extremely busy keeping up with cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day to keep our space safe for everyone.
If you or any member of your family is sick, STAY HOME! We will NOT service you. You will need to reschedule, no exceptions.
Come alone to your appointment, unless you must be accompanied by a caregiver.
Upon arrival, please wait in your car and call us at 216-236-6940 to check in. We ask that you wait in your car until we call or text you to come inside for your appointment. This will help us maintain proper social distancing rules, as well as give your stylist time to get their station ready for you.
Please use the hand sanitizer at our front desk immediately upon arrival.
**There will be a short consent form that MUST signed BEFORE having your service. If you choose not to sign, we can NOT service you at this time. SEE CONSENT FORM HERE.
Once seated with your stylist, (while your color is processing) one of our team members will come over to you to update your current contact information with us. We will also prepare you for our no-contact checkout (should you wish to use this option), get any retail that you would like to purchase bagged and ready for you to take home, and book your future appointments with us.
Per guidelines, our staff will wear a facial covering while servicing you. (unless not advisable for practical or health reasons, as stated per Ohio Dept of Health) – CLICK HERE to read the Department of Health Mandatory Guidelines for Ohio Salons.
Guests are free to use facial coverings if they prefer to. Please bring your own with you should you wish to use one. Please note that if receiving a color service, we are not responsible for any damage to your facial covering due to your service.
Some of our stylists that are high-risk or have family members that are high-risk, may request that their guest wear a facial covering during their service. We can provide you with one if you do not have one. If you choose not to, please know that your stylist has the right to refuse to service you that day.
If using our no-contact check out process, once your service is finished, you can simply leave.
You can still pay as you normally would with cash or credit card if you prefer.
We require that only 1 guest is at our front desk at a time. Please have a seat by our fireplace or at a safe distance of at least 6 feet away until you are called.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU & OUR SPACE SAFE:
We will have hand sanitizer readily available to use at multiple areas throughout our salon.
No self-serve beverages – our staff will be happy to serve them directly to you in a disposable cup.
No magazines will be available.
No candy bowl or food products until further notice.
No self-serve product testers, including makeup testers.
WE ARE DISINFECTING HIGH TOUCH AREAS EVERY 15-30 MINUTES:
Front Door Handle
Credit Card Terminals
Bathroom, Door Handles, Toilet Handle, Soap Dispenser and Faucet
WE ARE DISINFECTING BETWEEN EACH CLIENT:
Thoroughly washing hands.
Completely wiping down station/chairs/counters/carts.
Shampoo bowls/chairs/handles/backbar area.
All implements and tools per State Board guidelines.
Using a clean towel and cape for every client.
Wearing clean gloves and facial covering as required.
Please know that we are doing everything possible to keep everyone safe while at our salon, so you can relax and enjoy your services with us.
